good morning

It's early, 5:45. Everyone is still asleep except J, he's gone hunting. I've been up since 4:30. Just one of those mornings that I couldn't go back to sleep. seems to be happening a lot more lately. I guess it's just the colder weather.
Yesterday I got up and started scrubbing down my kitchen. Took everything off the walls and wiped it all down. Then made some chili. Was so hot this time I choked on it. I added a can of V-8 juice to it later to try to ease some of the heat. I like my chili hot but not that hot! Thought I had picked up the can of medium chili beans but no it was the hot ones.
Getting ready for the Holidays, cut up the pumpkin pie pumpkins and found a way to cook them in the microwave. This is the 1st time I've done it completely from scratch, usually just buy a can of it. Cleaned up the seeds for roasting too & replanting, next yr. it will be totally from scratch if I can get some to grow myself.I still have some work left to do in the kitchen, cleaning the fridge and mopping, then I'll start on the living room.
We have the school history play Tues. then a girls scout meeting on Wed. Maybe I can squeeze some knitting time in somewhere.
