Saturday

The girls spent the night with some friends & neighbors of ours last night, except Jessie, she came home with us this time. She wanted to stay but wanted us to stay too. We told her we'd bring her back in the morning so she could get her toes painted with everyone so she was happy & got to snuggle up with Mom & Dad. anyway they are still sleeping so I thought I'd get on here for a few minutes.
We went to walmart last night & did some shopping. I got a couple pairs of jeanns & some yarn to make a new afghan I've been hoping to make for the living room. I got burgundy, blue & hunter green so it can also go in the bedroom. I found some really soft novelty yarn too marked on clearance so I got a couple skeins to make a scarf for me. Here's a picture of the scarves I made for the girls modeled by Jillian.
Well they are waking up & my cell is ringing, ttyl. Have a great day!

A few more minutes

Here I am again! I have a few more minutes probably til the boy gets into something else or pulls on Tanners tail.
Last year I joined a just for me knit along & have finally taken a picture of what i made for myself. I liked doing it so much that I made 2 things. the cardigan I couldn't find the right button for & my fil suggested the toggle button, which I think was the perfect thing for it. The turtleneck cardigan is a little big but so comfy & warm! It was also the 1st thing I did with dpns.

I haven't done much of anything. my sink is full of dishes & beds need to be made, laundry folded & put away but whatever....it can wait til I'm in the mood.
I did make some beaded stitch markers today. Here's the pix. nothing fancy but they were very simple to make. William is here getting into stuff so gotta go.

Good morning! I got the girls off to school & some of my cleaning done. will finish up & then maybe I can finish Jessie's shrug.
I want to say a big thank you to April and Donna & Isabelle for helping with techy stuff. You have been a tremendous help in getting my blog back up!

Well yesterday was a pretty good day. The girls got their ears pierced & it went better then I expected. Jessie cried a little, she tried very hard not too & Jillian & Jaimie laughed to keep from it. After that we went for ice cream then to visit mom & dad. we will go to mil's today & back to mom & dad's. I probably won't get much knitting or crochet in. ttyl

rebuilding my blog

I messed up my other blog somehow so I deleted & started over. Not doing much today. Took girls to mandolin & banjo lessons & Jaimie decided to quit hers(banjo) so now it's just Jillian. It started to snow on the way home & now we have a weahter advisory. We are taking girls to get their ears pierced after we have lunch & take a nap if it doesn't get bad out. Will be back with the results of that later on tonight.
