Schools out again

We finally had our Girl Scout meeting tues. It went pretty well altho we didn't do much. Just had our Valentine party and talked about setting up for a cookie sale booth. I had picked up some Valentine card holder kits from Lowes build and grow workshop for the girls and some of them got to put those together. Not enough time for everyone to do it. we plan to start having weekly meeting in March and will have them bring in their knitting needles so we can continue learning.
Jaimie has her academic meet on the 1st; don't know what time; and we planned a cookie sale for that day, we will just have to miss it. Jillian can go with them tho, a couple mom's have volunteered to help. Hopefully the sale and meet won't won't be at the same time.
woke up yesterday around 5 and waited for about 45 minutes for them to call school off since another ice storm was coming. No school again today. It's kinda nice but don't want to have to make up the days at the end of the school year in May. Nothing planned today, just waiting for my new coat and an order from herrschnerrs. Was supposed to come yesterday but because of the ice it didn't. Said on the tracking that there was an exception, no one was here to sign for the packages. I was here all day & so was hubby, no one came. Hopefully it won't be a problem getting here today, thisice should start melting off. Hubby went out to take trash to curb and said the street was not slick. there's just a lot of ice still on trees and power lines and deck rails. gonna be a slushy, muddy mess!

Sleepless in Ky.

Didn't sleep well last night, had another kidney stone, ouch. finally took a couple ibuprofins and that did the trick not real positive if it was a stone but sure felt like it. I haven't been doing much as far as my crafting goes, been too busy with other things. Jaimie and hubby were in an archery competition last Sat. and Jaimie got a trophy just for trying. Jessie wants to do it now so she can get one.
Had an ice storm last Mon. and school was let out early and for the next 3 days. Now we have to make those up at the end of the yr. + 3hrs. for early dismissals and delays. Like having the snow days but don't enjoy the make up days. Was really odd because the week before it was 70, had more tornadoes tho luckily none here.
Only knitting I've done is about 7 squares for the girl scouts Warm Up America contest they are in. Finally get to have a meeting tomorrow. we haven't been able to for a while since my girls have been sick and bad weather.
gotta run to get more batteries for all these electronics. about to eat me up!
