It's a boy!

My nephew, Nathan Edward was born yesterday March 30, 2006 weighing in at 8 lbs. 1 ounce & is 19 inches long. He was taken to St. Mary's in Evansville IN. because of amniotic fluid in his lungs, but he is doing fine now and might be able to come home in 4 days. Will post pics as soon as I get some good ones. the ones I took yesterday didn't come out very good. I did get his blanket finished in time & now i'm working on a hat with suede & baby bee.
Have a great weekend!

Tuesday

good morning! I have managed to get all of my house cleaning done yesterday so I don't have much to do today. I will spending time working on my latest projects. Both are knit, 1st is a Patons lacette tunic http://www.patonsyarns.com/patternbook.php?PBS=500831%20&PHPSESSID=540103cac017f69e446de76b2e3a2059.
The 2nd is a baby blanket for my soon to be nephew.
I have learned to make my pictures come out a little better with my digital camera thanks to diy network.
Jillian is off on a field trip to the Louisville science museum. She won't be back until 5 so I know she's going to be tired, but I'm sure it will be a fun, interesting trip for her. Kids get to take much better trips then I did. We would just got to a local fire station or local museums, sometimes we would go to a park. So far she has gone to the Louisville Zoo(so has Jaimie) & Mammoth Cave twice & now the science museum! They've also been to the Riverpark Center here in Owensboro several times to see plays.
Well I have to go take shower before even Tanner runs off lol!
Have a wonderful day!

Hello

I haven't been on puter much lately. Been busy with making jewelry. I made myself a bracelet & earring set with swarovski topaz beads(my birthstone) I' m really pleased with the way they came out. This picture doesn't do it justice.
Jillian made the cheerleading squad at school.
Jaimie got her new glasses Frid. & told me she looks hot in them LOL. She does look cute.
Jessie made student of the week for the 2nd time & is doing much better on her skills books since I bought her some rewards for each 1 she finishes-she needed an incentive to get her to want to do them.
I plan to make an afghan but don't know which one I want to do. Well I do but the pattern can't be sold without the yarn kit. Might just buy the kit & exchange the yarn for some baby yarn for sherry's new baby, due in April. Hubby just called & he won't be here today after all, is on his way to Dallas again which means a 3000 mile week, great pay since he just got a loan for a 4 wheeler.
My new fridge is supposed to be here today, I hope so but I'm not sure what to do with the old. I'll figure it out.
anyway off to work on a crochet pattern for a Kelly doll I am testing for Wendie's Wee Woolies. TTYL
